All of our "Art for the Wall" pieces are individually handmade from solid brass and/or aluminum and are coloured using an air brush, then sealed with a no-care protective coating. They need only the occasional wipe with a damp cloth.
The Fairthorne signature on each piece signifies it as a piece of genuine Canadian artwork.
Wallart
The flowers are cut from brass and shaped by hand with hammers on anvils, then the colours are air-brushed on and sealed with a protective coating. They are attached to an aluminum 4" x 12" flat, brushed plate and a hook has been soldered on the back for easy hanging. The green stem hangs approximatly 3" below the plate. Two pads have been attached to the back to hold it off the wall. Each piece is signed and dated on the back. |
